As well as offering stunning and affordable accommodation, Apollo Bay Beachfront Motel is a great base to explore everything Apollo Bay and the surrounding areas have to offer. Our picturesque region is famous for breathtaking natural scenery, and a whole host of man-made and environmental activities.

Our friendly staff are always happy to offer advice on the best local attractions to see while you stay in our twin, queen or superior queen accommodation. No matter the time of year you’re visiting us, there’s always something to make your trip memorable.

Twelve Apostles

The world-famous limestone stacks stand out in stark contrast against the ocean slowly wearing away at them. Walk along the coastal track and stop at numerous viewing platforms to find out more about the natural wonders. If you set the alarm for sunrise, it will be well worth the early morning. If you’d prefer to while away your morning with brunch or shopping, you can easily travel from our accommodation in Apollo Bay, down the Great Ocean Road to see the sun set between the rock formations.

Otway Fly Treetop Adventures

Whether you prefer a more sedate walk, or a high-adrenaline zipline adventure, Otway Fly Treetop adventures takes you up into the tree canopy for a unique view on the world, 25 metres above the ground. This popular activity is just a one-hour drive inland from our accommodation.

Great Otway National Park

Take time out to wander through the many natural features of the huge national park, taking in the sights – from waterfalls to rock formations, gullies, beaches and lakes. There’s lots of trails to chose from, and you can choose one of the many camping grounds to stay overnight and enjoy waking up to the sun and the sounds of nature. Stretching from Torquay towards Princetown and Colac, there’s lots to see and do.
